Marriage Preparation Courses (Ballina)

2007

Accord Marriage Preparation Courses give couples the chance to enrich and strengthen their relationship as they plan for their wedding

Venue Accord, Pastoral Centre,
Cathedral Grounds, Ballina, Co. Mayo

Dates 4 Monday Nights, 8.00 p.m. – 10.30 p.m. or
2 Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Course 1 January 8th to January 29 th (4 Monday nights)

Course 2 Feb 24 th and March 3 rd (2 Saturdays)

Course 3 April 21 st and April 28 th (2 Saturdays)

Course 4 May 7 th to May 28 th ( 4 Monday nights)

Course 5 Sept 3 rd to Sept 24 th (4 Monday nights)

Course 6 Nov 10 th and Nov 17 th (2 Saturdays)

Cost €100 per Couple to be paid at time of booking

It is recommended that couples complete their course 6 to 12 months before their wedding day. Early booking is essential .

Counselling Service

 

Marriage and Relationship Counselling. This is a safe, professional and confidential process facilitating couples and individuals to explore, reflect upon and resolve difficulties in their marriage or other relationship.

Counsellor's Role. Counsellors deliver professional expertise in a humane, reassuring atmosphere.

Qualifications & Experience. All Accord counsellors go through a rigorous selection process. They are trained to the highest standard which builds on innate qualities of genuineness, warmth and understanding.

Ethics Policy. All Accord counsellors work under a strict code of ethics and practice.

Costs. Accord is a non-profit organisation but as the service incurs overheads contributions are welcome according to clients' means. No one is turned away from Accord due to lack of money.

Attendance. Initial sessions tend to be weekly and last no longer than one hour

Appointment times are arranged for a time that suits both Client and Counsellor.
