The Parish of Dromore West (Kilmacshalagan)
is naturally very proud of its newly rebuilt church which was officially re-dedicated and blessed by Bishop John Fleming on 3 February 2008. .

The building work cost 1.1 million euro. · 350,000 euro has already been raised by the 320 families who make up the Parish of Dromore West. · 750,000 euro was borrowed. · 1200 euro is contributed per week by the local parishioners to clear the debt of 750,000 euro ·

The outstanding debt at present stands at 700,000 euro. The parish also had to provide a local contribution of 50,000 euro towards a new department of education funded primary school which opened recently. Any contribution towards the reduction of the 700,000 euro debt on the new church would be deeply appreciated by the financially burdened parishioners of Dromore West.
