On Sunday, April 26, 2026, Archbishop Francis Duffy will be installed as the new Bishop of the Diocese of Killala.
Mass will be celebrated in St Muredach’s Cathedral at 3.00p.m.
In attendance will be members of Archbishop Duffy’s family, his predecessor, Bishop John Fleming, Bishop Emeritus of Killala, His Eminence, Seán Cardinal Brady, His Excellency, Archbishop Luis Mariano Montemayor, Apostolic Nuncio to Ireland, His Grace, Archbishop Eamonn Martin, Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland, concelebrating bishops and priests, representatives of the Christian Churches, public representatives, and people and religious from across the 22 parishes in the Diocese of Killala.
We pray God’s blessing on Archbishop Francis. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide him with wisdom.
